Network Hub · Florida, United States
Privacy policy
Effective September 26, 2026
This policy explains how Network Hub, operated from Florida, handles information when you browse our guides, use diagnostic tools, or create an account.
Information we collect
Account information: When you create an account, our authentication provider, Supabase, processes your email address, password, account identifier, and sign-in information to create and secure your account and send confirmation or password-reset emails.
Tool inputs and saved results: Diagnostic tools process the domains, URLs, IP addresses, ports, and other information you submit. When you are signed in, supported tools save results to your account automatically. Saved reports can include targets, timestamps, network details, findings, filenames, and excerpts or metadata from analyzed files.
File analysis: The ping and traffic analyzers read selected files in your browser. When signed in, the resulting analysis is sent to our server for storage, including any packet previews, addresses, or ping samples included in the result. A locally analyzed file can therefore still produce a saved report containing information from that file.
Guide feedback: If you submit a helpful or not-helpful vote, we record the vote, guide, page path, timestamp, and browser user-agent information.
Technical information: Requests to Network Hub and its service providers expose information such as your IP address, browser, requested resource, and request time. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process request and security logs as part of operating the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide diagnostic tools, authenticate users, display and store private troubleshooting history, remember preferences and guide progress, process feedback, send account-related emails, and investigate errors or misuse.
Avoid submitting passwords, access tokens, or information you do not have permission to process. Network captures and diagnostic logs may contain information about other people or devices.
Service providers and external requests
Supabase provides account authentication and saved-report storage. Google Firebase/Firestore stores guide feedback. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process requests needed to deliver and secure the site.
IP lookup tools can send the queried IP address to FreeIPAPI or ipwho.is. Public-IP detection can use ipify. Domain tools may query DNS and RDAP services. Website checks request the website you specify and may follow links on it; port checks connect to the target you submit. Those services or target systems can receive the query or connection and record it under their own practices.
Our stylesheet loads a font from Google Fonts, which makes a request from your browser to Google. If you follow an external link, such as a map or checked website, that destination handles your information under its own privacy policy.
Service providers may process information outside Florida or the United States. Applicable protections and retention practices can vary by provider and processing location. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or needed to investigate misuse and protect the service or others.
Cookies, local storage, and tracking
Network Hub uses browser storage for authentication, guide checklist progress, preferences, and your cookie-banner choice. The cookie storing that choice lasts up to one year. Other browser storage can remain until you clear it or it expires.
The Accept and Decline buttons currently record your banner choice. They do not disable all other storage: authentication and guide-progress storage operate separately. You can remove or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings, although doing so may sign you out or reset progress and preferences.
The current application does not include advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral advertising features, and it does not change its behavior in response to a browser Do Not Track signal. External services may separately receive technical information when your browser contacts them.
Retention and security
Saved reports remain in your account until deleted; there is currently no automatic expiration for saved reports. Account records remain while your account is maintained. Guide feedback has no automatic deletion schedule in the application. Provider logs and backups may follow separate retention schedules, so deleting a report from the application does not necessarily immediately remove every backup copy.
Saved-report access is restricted to the authenticated account through database access policies. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in details private and review reports before saving or sharing information from them.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can browse public resources without an account. Sign out before running a tool if you do not want supported results automatically saved to your account; the tool may still send inputs to the services needed to perform the requested check.
You can view and delete individual saved results from My Account, change your password from account settings, and clear browser storage through your browser. The application currently does not provide a self-service account-deletion button.
Depending on your location and the laws applicable to Network Hub, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information. We may need to verify account ownership before acting on a request. Do not send your password or other credentials with a privacy request.
Children and policy changes
Network Hub is a general-audience networking resource and is not directed to children under 13.
We will update this page and its effective date when our privacy practices change. Review this page periodically; where applicable law requires additional notice, that requirement still applies.
